Things to Do Before We Die: my own list

What's on your bucket list? ie what do you want to have done in your life before you kick the bucket/pass on?

Before I die I still have alot of things on my mind that I'd like to have done. Personal goals, religious goals, artistic pursuits, things for my family ect. . I'd already consider myself a "liv-er" i.e somebody who lives everyday and not just exists content with the state of being and the status quo.

For my personal goals I would like to be a more patient, more understanding person. I'd like to be more giving of my time. Maybe I wouldn't actually "like" these things, but I think they'd make me a better person.

For my religious goals, I want to be a woman of deeds and not just words. I want my understanding to be exhibited by actions not what I say I know. And to be fluent in classical Arabic. Which I most certainly lack.

For my artistic pursuits: I want to design and build my own home and decorate just the way I like (without ever taking out a bank loan). I want to finish writing a novel. (I've written many and given up or gotten bored over time). I want to successfully run my own interior design business. I also want to travel to a few countries. *And/or throw a pie in the face of French President Nicolas Sarkozy [which might violate personal goals].

For my family: I want to be a good rolemodel to my children, visit my family far far away, and give them a varied education. I want to help my husband delve back into his creative side and be able to relax more and work less.

It's alot to want and then, at the same time, not alot.

I'm with you on the "throw a pie in the face of French President Nicolas Sarkozy", but I think I much prefer rotten eggs.

See anon, it is hard for them to consider it an "act of terrorism" when you whip someone with whipping cream and and bananas" or something;).

Sarkozy is no more president, it's François Hollande now.
