Amal: Dhofari, called Abu Thail:)

Aalia: Wa alaikom e salaam. :) I lovvvvvvvvvvvve purple. We can get you a Dhofari one tailored so easy. It is only 4 rials for the tailoring and the rest for your materials and fabric, I have a good tailor;)

ALiyah: Actually, they aren't really similiar to Pakistani clothes at all besides being composed of a tunic and pants, as the construction of the garments in a completely different pattern. But I think now that most of the tailors are Pakistani or Indian, the embellishments get an Asian flair.

Salaam ladies! Have you heard of an American that has started documenting Omani Dress from all over? She put out a book and has just gotten Government recognition for her work, alhumdulilah. Please, you should hook up with her!
