Setting up my lux camping honeymoon: happy weekend everyone!

1.) Carpet for inside the tent, carpet for under the tent so I don't have that ugly blue tarp look going on.
2.) Set up the tent.
3.) Drag the mattress inside and make the bed and hand mosquitoe netting above.
4.)Laundry hamper storing bride's clothes used as side table, have a bowl of water and some facecloths here, as well as two fresh rolled bath towels.
5.) Lay out the traditional picnic mats outside and make a fire ring, as well as place the grill for cooking and light it up. Cooler stored behin the tent.
6.) Light candles and place them in glass lanterns in a circle around living area outside of the tent and one inside the tent. 7.) Eat very delicious camping food and enjoy the peace of being married while it lasts;)

Enjoy yourselves! You know, some might think your honeymoon is a bit sparse, but I can one-up you.

When I married Abu Aaminah (my ex husband) we had appy fizz (apple fizz drink) and dehydrated banana chips for the wedding "feast" and I spent my wedding night, not in a bed, not in a comfy mattress in a tent, but on a TILE FLOOR with a 1cm thick woven placemat under us. LOL Alhamdulillah.

If simple weddings are the most blest, I must have loads of hasanat from that one!!!!

Mabrook again and enjoy!

Sitting here thinking of the wedding whilst doing my washing... indeed my wedding was a simple one just like mentioned in the previous comment, but I would have loved to be able to sneak in and take a look at yours, too ;-) Mabrouk!

Umm Aaminah: Awwww mashallah. I do believe simple weddings have the most hasanat. And I love banana chips lol.

My weddding food was yummier though. I love grilled chicken and lamb skewers. Alhamdulilah for the bounty.

lol we had a photographer and most of the pics are OK but we look drunk in one and that was, most definetly!, not the case. You'd think he would have taken enough pics for us to look sane in all of those he charged for! As for dinner, we had lamb couscous with fried chillies and fresh fruit.
